My Contributions to Havnyr
Whilst I did not make up the story for Havnyr, nor the setting, I wrote the majority of the prose that was present in the final book. This included most of the second campaign session, and all of the background lore in the appendices including two short stories.

I viewed Havnyr as an opportunity to exercise my passion for creative writing and the fantasy genre. It was my job to flesh out the world and story of Havnyr through short stories, background lore, and flavour text.

As time went by, my collaborators needed help to finish the campaign sessions and as such I wrote the majority of the second campaign session so they could focus on finishing the first.

Since I had been responsible for writing the lore of the Lantern's Cradle City, I was well suited to the task of writing the session where the players explored it.

Despite having never written a Dungeons and Dragons campaign before and never having played one either, I think I did a pretty good job and am proud of my work on Havnyr.

If I could change anything about how I wrote it, I would reduce the amount of narration in the campaign sessions that I wrote, as I think it was far more than is normal for a DnD campaign book.
Stories from Havnyr (Short Story Collection)
Contained inside are four short stories from Havnyr, some of them are in the appendices of the main book and some I have written since for fun.

The Impossible Cottage - An agent of the council, in search of corrupted monsters from outside the walls, instead finds something far stranger.

Beyond Human Nature - The Campaign Villain's origin story.

Words and Wings - Winged Aarakocra attempt to fly above the walls of Havnyr to see what lies outside.

The Hearth at Winter's Heart - In a castle at the heart of winter, not everyone can survive the long winter months.
